Laser water cooling system maintenance

For the maintenance of laser equipment, we have to say that the filter of the chiller, Especially high-power laser equipment. The main role of the filter is to purify the impurities in the chiller, to ensure cleanliness of the circulating water quality, and ensure the water system is smooth and clean! If the chiller do not have the filter, while circulating water is flowing, lowering the temperature of the equipment, with time going by, it will precipitate some impurities, which will form itto dirt to surround on the Q head and resonant cavity, affect the quality of the laser light, also can not get good water circle to cool the laser equipment, naturally can not ensure the laser generator stability, a long time later will affect the laser machine life and treatment effect.


The core of the filter is the filter element, it absorbs the water impurities, so we must change the filter element regularly. Under normal usage: It is generally recommended that the customer replace the filter element in about 2 months, if the use of the environment is relatively bad, it is best to always check, once found that water quality in a short period of time become dirty, we should replace filter element in time.


The suggestion for the water which is used in the chiller：
1, the best water is deionized water  and distilled water, less impurities in this kinds of water, so water system is not easy to dirty, but a little expensive.
2, In general, we recommend using good quality pure water, this can be used to meet the needs of equipment and affordable. But we see in the internet some people say “it is ok to use mineral water”, now we suggest it is better not use this mineral water, why? Because mineral water contains many metallic elements, they all exist in the form of ions, when water absorbs heat, they combine into compounds, which condenses in the laser surface, affecting the quality of the beam.
3, laser cooling water replacement cycle is 1-2 months to change the water once. If you do not use the device for a long time, the internal cooling water should be drained.
